Seminar Topics & Schedule
The 2020 seminar schedule is currently under review. Additional information will be provided soon.
Have you ever stopped and thought about the fact that God designed our bodies to work a certain way? In fact, He also created the fuel (food) and the medicines (plants) that support our body’s functionality. Unfortunately, our way of life in America is too often limited to putting a band aid on the symptom. (As we’re coached to do through the many different TV commercials.) Join this seminar and you’ll learn about root cause, as well as many new alternatives that work in alignment with God’s design. If you struggle with issues such as sleep, digestion, chronic pain, depression, stress/anxiety, weight control, or even serious diseases, this seminar is a must-attend! Join us and prepare yourself to PERFORM in alignment with God’s design, both on and off the golf course.

Who were your heroes? Who were the people that shaped your beliefs and values? What’s your legacy? Who have you influenced? This highly interactive seminar will encourage participants to share their answers to these questions. We will learn from each other, and we will express our appreciation to those that came before us. And most importantly, we will take a close look at Jesus’ legacy. Tiger, Jack, and Greg were good…really good…but Jesus is the real G.O.A.T.!

Just as a golf course has boundaries, so should our relationships! And, just as golfers hit shots out of bounds, we all have people in our lives that have crossed the line. (Or, maybe we’ve crossed a few boundary lines ourselves.) Co-workers. Spouses. Siblings. In-laws. Bosses. Neighbors. Oh yeah, you know who we’re talking about, but don’t worry, we’re here to help. In this seminar, we will clearly define the concept of boundaries, why they matter, and how to protect them. Participants will leave feeling liberated and equipped to deal with boundary violations in a loving yet truthful way.

Have you ever wondered why certain people do what they do? Take a moment to observe people in the way they walk, the way they talk, hand gestures, facial expressions, and voice tone. Notice how golfers warm up. Some hit 15 balls. Others hit 75 balls. The truth is…no one way is right or wrong, and one style is not better or worse than another style. God created each of us with unique and individual behaviors. Personal awareness about our own behaviors will absolutely lead to improved performance, both on and off the golf course. It worked for Paul Azinger, who captained the 2008 United States Ryder Cup team to victory, in part due to his implementation of the DiSC Behavioral system. In this seminar, participants will learn how to identify their primary and secondary behaviors, and the impact of these behaviors in their life, including specific golf-related examples.

Today’s teenagers are under a tremendous amount of pressure. Athletic pressure. Academic pressure. And most certainly, social (peer) pressure. Pictures, gossip, and all sorts of information can be shared in a “snap”-chat. These pressures, along with the other noise in their lives, tend to clutter their ability to make thoughtful, solid decisions. It’s time to help our teenagers refocus and re-establish a commitment to biblical decision making. This seminar will do just that through a realistic presentation of real-world scenarios. Teen participants will leave the seminar with an action plan for using the Bible as a guide, no matter what the scenario may be.
All it takes is one look at Paul’s missionary trips to see that he is the ultimate looper! He covered significant ground during a time when travel was not easy. Along the way, he preached the gospel of Jesus, started new churches, and then from the confines of prison, he wrote letters of thanks and encouragement to the people he had visited. In this seminar, we will look specifically at Paul’s letter to the Philippians, and those words will help us understand how to find the balance between competing with others (like we do in golf), but with the compassion that both he and Jesus demonstrated.
