11th Annual Joshua Cup Jr. Team Match Play Championship

The Joshua Cup will once again be held on President’s Day Weekend (Feb 15-16, 2025) at RTJ Capitol Hill in Prattville, AL.  This event is one of the most popular and exciting team match play events exclusively for top level junior golfers.  This two day tournament is by invitation only based on previous participation in The Joshua Cup, and on-course results during 2024 in national and regional level events. 

Age Requirements:
On February 15th, 2025, the participant must be:
1) between the ages of 12-18
2) not yet graduated from high school

Application Period (NEW THIS YEAR):
The application period is open now and runs through September 30th.  Completed applications do not guarantee entry into the field.  All interested golfers are invited to apply.  The application will ask questions about your events and results during the 2024 calendar year.  Returning players from the 2024 Joshua Cup are guaranteed a spot in 2025, but must complete an application.  Additional spots will be awarded based on 2024 results.  The final criteria will be age and gender, because, this is a team event requiring each team to have players of similar skill, age, and gender.  For example, if we have 31 of 32 spots filled, the final spot must be filled by a player who matches the age and gender of the final player on the opposing team.  Matches and teams must be equitable in order to ensure the best experience for all participants. 

Confirmation/Registration: Applications will be reviewed by the Tournament Committee between October 1-10th, with official invitations sent on or around October 11th.  Players receiving an invitation will have 72 hours to complete the registration process and payment.
