The Americans Regain the Cup with a Dominating Performance in Sunday's Final Round!

Through the first four rounds, The Nationals (captained by Joshua Elam and John Dobbins) had put on a show. Their steady and consistent play resulted in a 41.25 to 38.75 lead after the conclusion of play on Saturday. They won three of the four sessions through the first two days. But Sunday was a different story. The Americans, captained by Marc Robillard and Nick Robillard, dominated the final round by a score of 36-4, and ran away with the 2020 Memorial Cup 74.75 to 45.25. After securing the victory, Captain Robillard stated, “Hats off to the Nationals. They were a great opponent, and after the first two days of competition, we knew we had our hands full. But, we also knew we had a good team, and we came out Sunday ready to go. We never expected the Sunday meetings to be so one-sided, but our guys played great and earned the victory.”
